How would you like to buy a Ferrari, but never get to drive it?

You're doing that right now if you are a college student, or if you want to go to college. The cost of a college education keeps skyrocketing. The latest figures indicate that public universities cost an average of $14,000 per year. Want to go to a private college? It's even worse. The average cost at private colleges is now $32,000 per year. That means getting a college diploma could cost you as much as $130,000- assuming you make it through in just four years. That's like buying an exotic sports car and never being able to touch it, much less drive it.

Some students (or their parents) can just write checks to pay for it all. Good for them. Most of us, however, need financial aid to get a college degree. And a lot of us have to work while we're in school. If you're a typical student, you work in food service or retail. And you make a whopping $6.00-7.00 per hour. Before taxes.

Did you work 20 hours last week? That's a lot of hours for a full-time student trying to graduate on time. What did you take home? $100? A HUNDRED BUCKS for a week's work? That's just nuts.
There has to be a better way. There has to be a way to work the same hours for more money, or make the same money in less time. I found the way. Actually, I found a lot of ways. I found jobs that pay much more that average-jobs that let you set your own hours in many cases. And these jobs actually enhance your resume when you finally graduate and start your career.
My first job was in a grocery making all of $6.75 an hour. A year later, I had moved up to the big time delivering pizzas for $2.15 an hour plus tips. When you include the slow nights and the bogus pizza orders-your delivery guy has to pay for undeliverable pizzas-I was averaging $7.00 per hour. My rent was $500 per month, gas was $3.00 per gallon, and some of my textbooks were $125 each. I just wasn't making it. I needed a way to make more money.

On my slow pizza nights I did my homework. Not my college homework; my job homework. As I researched the job market, I discovered that there were a lot of jobs that paid way more than minimum wage. I found that you could make as much as $30-50 an hour in some of these jobs. And I said to myself, "Let me think, $7 an hour or $50 an hour. Duh!"

I got myself one of these jobs. Then I did another job that paid me about the same. And, I decided that I would never work for chump change again. I wanted my friends to have this information as well. So I gathered my research and put it into a book. My book is called, "Cool Jobs for College: The Smart Way to Make Money for College and Build Your Resume."

First Hand Account - No phony baloney data from someone at a word processor. I have done the stuff in this book.
Creating Your Plan - If you don't have a plan you'll be asking, "You want fries with that?"
Your Personal Inventory - Decide what your talents are, and what you really like to do. You have more choices than you think.
" This Book Rocks! The first 30 minutes I read this book I got an idea for a job. One week later I'm making $50 per hour. It's fun and it's legal."

Jen, Baltimore
Getting Creative - If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten. Think outside the box.
Know Your ABC'S - Always Be Career-minded. Choose jobs that will add to your skill sets for that first job after graduation.
Building Your Resume - Choosing jobs that will make you a hot prospect for employers.
“ Beats Flippin' Burgers. Okay, I'm only making about $16 an hour. Still beats working the grill for some guy in a clown suit.”

The Dude, FSU
Interviewing - Whether it's getting into college, getting a date, or getting a job, you gotta know how to impress.
Unusual Jobs - A list of jobs most people never think of and never get.
Here's what you get when you buy my book, "Cool Jobs for College."
Lists of unusual, high-paying jobs that most people overlook.
Ways to get more information on getting these jobs.
My personal story about how I got one of these jobs.
Help in creating a strategy for now and for after graduation.
In my book I show you how to find the unusual jobs that most people overlook. My information literally cuts months off your job search. You don't have to go to the mall and go from store to store asking each manager if she's hiring. And because these jobs require a little creative thinking, you won't have a lot of competition. Not like the time I applied at a restaurant, and the manager showed me the stack of applications piled two feet high on his desk!

Every hour you continue to work for $7.00 an hour is an hour you could have been making $20, $30, or even $50 per hour. And, a cool job makes your resume look a lot better than a job working the drive-through window.
I've kept my price down to an affordable amount for a college student. It's way less than any textbook, and you could pay for the book in the first hour in your new job. Look at it that way and you'll agree that my book is a screaming bargain.

Promise yourself that you're not going to keep working some mindless job that pays peanuts. Get this book and learn how to make some real money. College costs a lot of money. Do yourself a favor and get a better job, and make more money.

P.S.- I wrote this book for all students who need to work while they're in school. That includes 11th-12th graders plus college students. If you are the parent of a student, buy this book for your son or daughter. The additional money they can earn will help them financially which means it will help you financially. The book also makes a great gift for the children of your friends, neighbors, and relatives. Do them a favor. Give them this book or refer them to this website (as an affiliate, of course).
